Coming To America

It took us awhile to finally get back to the states on leave. On February 16, 2006 we finally headed home for a much needed break.

Did I mention that it's a very long flight and that we almost arrived back in the States before we left thanks to the time difference. Mom said it was a good thing I slept most of the flight.

I thought waiting to take off from Korea took forever if I had only known. When we got to Chicago all the flights out were cancelled due to weather. We all got to spend several days and night waiting and hoping to get a flight out before we finally flew out. But that's another story....

Mom, Dad is that the plane that we're going to be flying home on?

What do you mean after all the rushing to get here that we still have to wait a little longer?

Smile for the camera everyone. (Hey Mom did you know that Grandma Estelle is threatening to burn your blue tee shirt? Yea I Know I promised not to tell Grandma but what do you expect after all I'm just a little boy.)

Is this plane ever going to take off?

It's hard trying to teach someone English when you're just beginning to learn to talk yourself. Still somehow she and I manage to communicate quite well.

Mom how come everyone but me seems to have there own seat? I mean after all don't they realize what an important person I am?

Mom could you wake me when we finally get there. I need a nap.
